Artist statement
Objects that hold memory, texture and origin.
Tulio Romano (Córdoba, 1960) is a paragon of contemporary Argentine sculpture. Through his carving of wood, he transforms solid blocks into fluid and dynamic shapes that explore nature and geometry. A graduate of the UNC and having won the distinguished National Exhibition's Grand Prize of Honor, his internationally known work is part of collections across the Americas and Europe.

Process
The hand behind the piece.
Each piece begins with long observation: the wood, the clay, the texture of the day. Tools stay simple, time stays generous. The studio is where intuition meets discipline, and where every object is shaped one decision at a time.
